    I.E on receipt 25/03/11 11.19 2345 089 1234 9876 (not actual numbers)

    prints out 25/03/11 11.19 02345 089 234 9876

    anybody else got this ??????

I would ring and check before using, just in case.

Yeah i noticed this on mine hoping there is no problems with it
  • Just spent my last £28.88 voucher; yet again no problems at checkout and no one marked my receipt. In fact the guy seemed quite amused at the fact that Tesco's seemed to be losing on this (so he had heard).

Trouble is, most of what I went in for was OOS so I probably really stuffed up my DTD part of the shop - guess that's what happens when the rest of the world knows what we're up to.

    Normal shop £33 - £28 voucher = £5
DTD Shop £21 - hope to get voucher back for £18.90

    1 x Comfort Strawberry £2.23 - £1.00 = Cost -£0.23
    2 x Quantum 20s Original £6.75 - £4.00 = Cost £2.50
    1 x Cantaloupe Melon £1.99 - £1.00 = Cost £0.01
    3 x Mullerice £0.61 - £0.25 = Cost -£1.08
    1 x KitKat 9 Pack £1.65 - £1.00 = Cost £0.35

Just got back from Mr T's - Food Emporium and Dealer in High-class Groceries.

The guy in the queue behind asked in a conspiratorial tone, "Are you a friend of Martin's?"

I looked at his purchases on the belt and saw that they were almost identical to mine.

I replied in the affirmative, and requested that he pass on my best regards next time he saw him!

Just to warn anyone buying the 4x packs of cider....

I thought that I was being clever yesterday buying 1 x 4 pack of Magner's (SEL said any 2 for £8)
plus 1 x 4 Pack Strongbow (SEL said any 2 for £7.50). But the lovely Mr T gave me a slightly random multi buy discount of £1.01 (any 2 of £7.00)...confused or what?
  • posted this on the other thread- would really like your thoughts:

what happens if the asda website show's the product available to selected stores only?

Wouldnt have any idea about this, I suppose it depends on what method Tesco are using to check prices? If they are just using the standard Asda website, or mysupermarket etc?
