Hello new thread!!!!Seems an obvious thing to do - so I assume it's because the small number of people who DTD on them are far outweighed by the people who buy as part of normal shop and don't know about DTD .
Well - £100 voucher worked :T. Supervisor says she hates them because when she puts in her own receipts Tescos are always cheaper - told her she is buying the wrong alcohol :rotfl:. Spent £106 on list of offers - and have just bunged in receipt so I can see how much cheaper it is than Asda.
I may also have had a couple of supplementary Turners Rd cash shops . Went through self service but had to get security tag removed - SA asked if it was on offer as lots of people had been buying it :T. I said no, it was full price, but I had seen it recommended on a website.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Brilliant.
Well, have just been to do my Tesco run today, shelves were heaving with DTD items, finally got the right roasting tins (one for me, one for mum), and managed to do 7 separate transactions! I now have enough razors to last a rugby team for a year.:rotfl:
The SA probably knew what I was up to but she didn't bat an eyelid. I spent a voucher, the £50 gift card I bought yesterday with a voucher and about £40 of real cash. Am expecting about £140 in DTD vouchers and am still awaiting vouchers from Wed, Thur and Fri this week! All will go on further DTD items, I am loving this promotion.:beer::beer::beer:

I have gone over my £100 limit for the month. I'm itching to carry on with this DTD. Is there any way I can be 'traced' if I carry on. I was thinking of doing a few DTD shops of £20. Thanks.0

Just back from Tesco, Bought the T.V, no problem with using the £100 voucher, she was laughing as it had been on the news.
Then did the food shopping & used the voucher from Thursday's shop, voucher was £21.50, not capped at £20.
SA just took it, no problem. Both times, they never kept the original receipt.
Don't think we'll have much dtd on this shopping, if any.
Just seen this on yahoo, not sure if it's already been posted, but it's probably everywhere by now!!

Have been to 3 Tesco's and cant find this in any of them, I love pink bubbles as well!!!!!0 -
Wouldnt have any idea about this, I suppose it depends on what method Tesco are using to check prices? If they are just using the standard Asda website, or mysupermarket etc?
From what I've read, Tesco are using the Asda website to check prices. The T&Cs on the price checker website say they're checking them in a few postcode areas and if there are any variations they're taking the most common one.
3. Price data used for the Tesco Price Check is obtained from daily web scans of the Asda Home Shopping site.
4. If prices are found to be different across the website postcodes sampled, we have used the most commonly occurring price.

back from tescos! spent my £58 voucher no problem. used it towards a bike for OH so no dtd.
wouldn't let me use my coop voucher even though I used one in the same shop a couple of days ago. the cashier went off to ask about it and came back and said no. I said I used one the other day so off she went to ask someone else. before she went off again I showed her the dtd voucher and said do you need to check this one as well (in case she needed to go off a third time!) and she said "oh no I know we take them!". I had to ask her to sign the receipt.
OH was pleased he got a £70 bike for £12:jsaving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

Hi i've seen a couple of people mentioned buying Gift Cards with their DTD vouchers but i've just checked the T&Cs and it states you cannot buy Gift Cards with the vouchers - can anyone confirm this as i'd rather do this than buy stuff for the sake of it.A home is not a home ..... without a dog0

You can try, it just depends on the store and SA that you get. AVOID THE OLDER FEMALE SAs LIKE THE PLAGUE. Good luck! :AGet to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs
