Looks very nice indeed.....hopefully there will not be any attempts to overthrow the government on this holiday...getting teargassed once in a lifetime is more than enough!!!

We love Madeira and go there quite often. If you haven't been before, buy a bus card at a newsagent for about 50cents/1Euro, load it with a few Euros and it will save you money on the buses. They are really good, on time and you can use them to places like the Botanic Gardens.

If you visit Blandys for a few tastings of Madeira, it is good just to be able to hop on a bus up the hill.

Evening all :-( Dawnie been poorly today. Woke up with raging bad head this morning & felt sick, took tablets, couldn't shift, been sleeping all day and been sick lots - felt awful can't remember last time i felt this ill. Feeling a little bit human now and just had dried toast - gutted i missed a lovely day esp as was going to spend my Co-Op voucher which expired today :-( Got £15 giftcard from M&S this morning following my complaint regarding them selling me Out Of Date food. I think they'll pull the velvet comp - can't see what else they can do - they can't monitor it and they're just wasting everyones times - just hope we still get our cheques as i'm owed £300.

Bad Mr T. All this free food is making me fat. I just can't stop eating.

The Young's Cod in Butter Sauce is a bit bland on it's own, spice it up with a small fried onion, 2 tbsp oil, a pinch of salt, corriander, cumin. chilli powder and turmeric and it's bloody lush. Just gobbled a whole 4 pack and want more now. Followed that up with 2 Magnums and then some McCoys. I want more. LOL.
