Woohoo. My brother, bless him, went to do DTD today and actually managed to pull it off. Last time he went, they sent him back and said "You can't use it!". RESULT :j:j:j

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Lovely and sunny here now, been in the garden all afternoon sowing seeds. Went to T's this morning on way to allotment and used my other DTD voucher on a 'normal' shop as I don't want 2 dtd's on the go. Got loads of bogof and bog2fs - top line was over £70, after £12 dtd (had to tell her to sign it - training SA's again), £4 moc's, discounts and £5 Coop paid £10 - quite pleased with that :D
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

I had a stress-free, 'normal shop' today as well jeferey :).

I forgot my usual moc coupons and didn't have any co-op coupons left.. I'd given up trying to keep track of the dtd, so went to ASDA.

The Mullerlight 6-packs of yoghurts were £2 and the Weightwatchers 4-packs were 3 for £3. They also had soft and gentle deodorant on offer at £1.

The store was heaving and I wondered whether the message was getting across that Tesco haven't been living up to the "we are cheaper' claim", - or maybe it's because it's Mothers Day tomorrow.

Farmfoods had Weightwatchers oven chips for £1 and 2 Hovis for £1.50.
Although their offer on the milk (2 for £1.60) seems to have finished.

Tesco had - not much that I actually wanted - but I got a reduced chicken (curry tonight :)) and a cauliflower that I had forgotten to buy from ASDA, along with the free nail varnish from the Express.

All in all, although I had visited 3 supermarkets (all close by) it was a really quick and cheap shop - no having to make up to £30, no arguing with staff :o - quite boring really, but it left me more time in the garden as well :).

It will count as March allowance. But don't forget it is one receipt per household per day if your sticking to the rules;)
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

most of the Olay range you can actually make a small profit on in Tesco using the DTD. People on MSE have compiled a spreadsheet of useful finds - check yourself before you go though and remember nothing guaranteed with Mr T. Wonder if that's why Tesco call it a price check and Asda call it a guarantee....:rotfl:

This looks most useful. have saved it in my favourites and forwarded it to work so I can check prices on-line at Asda before going shopping to Tesco on Monday night. It would be just my luck having never tried to use this before that I end up paying £10.20 for Olay that I have never purchased before so I can get £14.40 back, but then find Asda put their price up, and it all backfires on me.
I'm still a little confused with how many receipts can be submitted and maximum values. Seems to depend what I read. I thought I'd read a maximum of 4 receipts can be submitted per calender month (of which they have to be dated within last 28 days) of no more than £20 DTD per receipt up to a maximum of £100 a customer. So some info must be wrong cause 4 recipts of a max of £20 is £80, not £100.
Usually as soon as I cotton on to a 'good offer' it gets pulled. Examples being being able to use Farmfoods coupons that came through everyone's door off your shopping in Tesco (I got one use in before they pulled plug), also being able to use MOC's off your shopping even if you weren't purchasing the product as long as Tesco stocked product (I got 3 uses of that one). So expect this promo to end within 2 weeks.
    The end is nigh

Wow, thanks for this josie :A. I kept seeing it being mentioned on the other thread but because there are sooooo many pages, I couldn't find a link to it. Have just had a quick look and it makes choosing a list so much easier. Will also save it in my favourites. :)
