How much should I expect car insurance to be?

I am trying to weigh up if it is worth learning to drive. Could someone tell me roughly how much car insurance would be? I'm 24 and would be driving my mums car, 1 year old corsa.

Make sure you have done the quote on the basis that you have already passed your test. As someone mentioned earlier, insurance for learners is alot cheaper because they have to be supervised and are therefore less risk. There's no point going through all of this if you later discover that the £900 quote you've got suddenly rises to £4,000 once you've passed.
