    Great advice as usual Hypno:)

I was hoping for a storm last night to clear the humidity, but alas no!

Not a huge fan of hot weather unless I don't have to actually do anything in it:D Will be staying indoors as much as poss today, great for the washing though!

Definitely cooler here, but not much......and very overcast compared with yesterday too, so maybe the rain is on its way. I don't think a few short showers would go amiss really!

Moneywise - I did buy coffee on the way in today, but had a bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes when I got to work, so that hopefully helps on the cost of food and on my snacking habits..... I had lunch out yesterday, but it wasn't my turn to pay - which simply means it is my turn next time, so I must keep this cash in my purse from being frittered away!

I will be upping my exercise a bit from today - I have got a bit lazy recently.......having kept my weight stable for so long, it has just started to creep up a bit (still a long way from where I was to start with, though, so still all good) but another thing I want to keep on MY terms :o I have too many lovely things that I want to be able to continue wearing now.....:D

Right, as if to prove youareallhelpingme's point about sharing good ideas, I have nicked one from her.....

Instead of waiting each day for the daily flylady tasks, which I either forget to look for, have good intentions of doing but then let other things take over, or I go to the other extreme and spend so much time on the flylady thread I don't actually get round to doing the actual tasks......., Me has the wonderful idea of printing off the whole of LAST WEEK's tasks and working through them this week, putting the list up on the cupboard door and marking everything off as she goes!

So, the end result is the same as if you had followed the weekly thread, but without the time spent actually chatting and waiting for the next list to appear on OS.

Therefore, I have just copied and pasted last week's tasks into word, and have printed them off, and will work my way through as many as I can during the course of the week. Of course, I did nothing yesterday flying wise, so I am a day behind, but my house isn't too bad at the mo, so hopefully I can easily catch up :D

Is it sad that I am quite excited by this new approach :rotfl:

Another one popping in to pinch the idea.

It's far too easy to get distracted with reading, and not do the actual stuff, although in my defense I am in a hotel for 3 days, so have to fit everything into 4!!!

I think it is an excellent idea - especially for those people like us that *need* to be flexible due to a million and one other commitments. For example, I know that flylady is intended to allow you to have the weekends free, but the reality of my life is that quite often Saturdays are my most productive "housework" day (certainly in the morning) as I don't have the kids with me, and I can actually get on, with my music up loud, and bizarrely I quite enjoy those couple of productive hours. So, to have the whole list up there means that I can fit some of it in on a daily basis, and catch up on the rest on a Saturday if I want/need/feel the urge to.

As I say, my attitude to housework is very different now to the way it was in years gone by, simply because my life is so different, and that is the way that I want it to stay. I love the fact that the house has space that is not full of clutter. I love the fact that people can come round without me (or them) cringing with embarrassment about having to tidy the sofa before they can sit down.....etc etc etc.

Hopefully, this will just make it that little bit easier. So I am all for giving it a go :D

I have to say, it is quite a nice list. They used to terrify me  but I am sure I can work my way through most of this week's tasks.

Never thought I would hear myself saying it :rotfl:
