Have had a lovely afternoon, managed to get the ironing done before friends turned up, so have had a couple of hours with them drinking champagne to toast all things fab, and having the sort of laugh that involves tears running down your face..... Superb

Just a suggestion love,

You might want to sleep downstair the night of the marathon.... when a friend did it a few years ago he couldn't get down the stairs the following day :eek: the following year he slept downstair and was fine

Thanks Lucy, I have done the marathon 3 times before so am very ready for the aches and pains that follow - besides, I am staying with friends that night, and they live in a flat, so no stairs to negotiate!

I need to lose some weight (yep still not done that either) then I thought I'd try race for life. My Aunt has Lung Cancer so I thought I'd be able to fine the motivation for that
