Thanks guys! And good morning to you all!

yesterday I was really tired so did very little other than pottering about the house doing the usual washing etc. Did a bit of ironing but much more to do tonight.

I went to bed reasonably early and slept well - just as well really because I am due to run my longest run this morning......although we have decided to take into account the "lost" hour overnight and will be starting at 8.30 instead of our usual 7.30, so not so bad.

This afternoon we have friends over, then this evening the ironing will beckon ready for the week ahead. Other than that, I have nothing planned, apart from walking to the shop for some bread and milk.

I hope you all have a good day, whatever you are doing!

    Morning Hypno

Enjoy the run - I can't believe it'll be April this week and the marathon will be here again. I always watch it for a bit while having breakfast and thinking I can't even walk 26 miles, never mind running it!

'fraid no ironing for me as the washing machine is leaking and we can't work out why! I'll be wearing my linens to work at this rate. Sadly the launderette that used to be on the corner had shut down so we may have to take a load to the in-laws when we go over for dinner tonight! Needs must!

    Have a good day!

indeed you must - no sloping off for a few months, do you hear :rotfl:

urg, I cannot believe that it is only 3 weeks until marathon day  I really need to make a good effort on the run today - 2 weeks ago I did just over 15 miles, so I really need to be doing 17 miles plus this morning, which is somewhat daunting! I will be giving it my best shot, although still a bit snotty from my cold, so remembering my limits!

And on the washing theme - I am just about to take a load off the airer, reload it from the washing machine, and put another load in......it is never ending :o

Dinner tonight is meatloaf, and I will do a spicy tomato sauce to go with it I think.......that will be about all I can cope with by then!!

Yikes .... 3 weeks to go ... 17 miles and then standing up to do all the ironing later... surely that counts?

Well I did 18.75 miles - am happy enough with that. I ran out of water at 16 miles and then found it a bit tough, so I am sure that on the day, with plenty of water stations and crowds to pull me along, I will be ok......compared with running on my own around the lanes.

Well done on the run. Like the sound of the spicy tomato sauce but not the meat loaf (I am vegetarian) you have inspired me to do one of my puy lentil and parmesan cheese loaves but I will pinch the idea of spicy sauce. See you are an inspiration in the cooking department too;)

It is just so easy - passata, chili, onion et voila :D

V.....I am looking forward to marathon day - in that slightly terrified sort of way
