Living life, loving life.......hypno's having a ball!

Thank you Lucielle, but I think this particular batch needs me to dig deep and deal with myself.
Some of it is practical.....I've been burning the candle at both ends, and not eating regularly.....and what food I have had, hasn't always been particularly healthy, plus only one visit to the gym this week.....
.....I can do something about all of those things.
Other stuff is not so easy. Life, Love, and all the tough things that go along with it. Some of it relates to my Dad...that sort of thing. Just need to deal with it in an appropriate way.
HOWEVER......This time last year, I was sat in my old house in tears because I was approaching my birthday and had no idea where I was heading, in any area of my life. At that point, my house hadn't sold even, so I really was in the "old" part of my life.
Twelve months on, and although there is still stuff to deal with, I have looked back to see just how far I have travelled. Bloody amazing really.
More importantly, I have actually decided that I don't need to know where I am heading. Not really. I can make decisions each day for that day.....I don't really need to look much further for much of the stuff that goes on in my life.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. And that's a big leap forward. Not worrying about the destination because you can enjoy the journey."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

So true. Sometimes the destination is out of sight, but you are on the path regardless. Have a little faith in yourself: it's OK to be rudderless every now and again if you are smart enough to get back on track when you can see where the track is going. And you are smart enough to do that.

I think so too - when I realised this earlier this week, it suddenly seemed so obvious really.
No end of planning could have prevented some of the things that have happened this week. Stuff comes completely out of the blue - good and bad. What is important to me is knowing that I can decide how to deal with it at the time.
But it does mean I need to look after myself. I was caught out at one point this week because I was tired, and I found myself agreeing to something I didn't want to do, just because I didn't have the energy to say no.
That taught me a big lesson.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Bloody amazing indeed :T :T Well done you, you've worked darn hard xxx
(and well done for learning that lesson - it's a tough one but very important!) Look after yourself first xx0 -

You will never eliminate being tired. The only thing you can do is raise the bar so that you'll have to be *really* tired to agree to things like that.
And very occasionally doing stuff you don't want to is good for you. That taught me a big lesson.
Don't you be beating yourself up about things...

In this case, the only good thing was acknowledgement that I had made an error of judgement and telling myself that I will NOT be doing it again.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. I did say "very occasionally"...
This will make you appreciate the nicer things in life all the better. A bit like how the tinned sprouts do... :rotfl:"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Thanks for that - I have just done both, lost both, but will get the cash back in due course.
