And of course, true to form, it takes no time at all once you make the decision to do it.

There is nothing "spare" in the kitty, and we will have a few weeks of storecupboard magic meals.....but nothing that cannot be dealt with.

Knew you could sort it out :j.

Looking forward to highly inventive menus, studiously ignoring the elephant in the room, or should I say larder :rotfl:

Which is what spurred me on to get on with it!

Burying my head in the sand could have made mealtimes far too "interesting" for my liking :rotfl:

Well done on getting the numbers crunched :T We knew you would be OK really!

Knowing you have 2 budding chefs in the house can they be store cupboard challenged? A bit like Come Dine with me but at home over 3 nights with each of you doing a meal? Extra points for the least ingredients maybe, or for it stretching to two meals?

Enjoy the treats - just means you need to use up from 'Hypno's food shop' instead - at least these days you get the treats and not just to use up your food.

Hope friend is ok - my BIL fully recovered from menningitis about 4 years ago and he was 60 at the time.
