  • Hi Hypno been lurking but not had chance to post.

But of course if you persevere, you ditch the stuff that you don't need. You give away the stuff that you don't want. You consolidate some things into useful storage jars. You plan for the future, realising that you actually have more useable stuff here than you thought, and the menu plan is created.

And after a little while, the relevant stuff is put away, the cupboard has space. You don't need to rummage to find what you need, or what you want - it is there staring you in the face when you next open the door, without you even realising it.

And if you are anything like me, you keep going back to that sparkly cupboard and just opening it up - just to admire the work you have done and to say "I did that....I'm gooooood"!!!

Love this post it so describes my life at mo. Was worried about you but so glad you are feeling better and that you are enjoying your debt free life.

Yes, am feeling much better, thanks.....tired today but not through anything bad at all....and for the hours that I *am* asleep, it is much better quality sleep, which speaks volumes I think :)

    Life is good :D

Here we are again with the 's' word. I HATE that word!!! Who says we should do these things? The same people who are too scared to do anything different usually!!!!!! We should do whatever we like, because it suits us!!!!!

    Hey Hypno! :)

First up, yes you absolboodylutely ARE worth an amazing deal. :D

Secondly, I've been dealing with lots of stuff myself lately, and have found that people are much kinder to me that I could have otherwise anticipated, and that I need to be nicer to myself that I normally am, too, as the standards I set for my own life - how I should act, how I should feel, how I should deal with that - are almost unobtainable, and when I don't achieve them, I feel awful, which compounds a negative cycle of feeling bad.

And the good news? It's really working! And, ironically, it is enabling me to achieve the things I always wanted to achieve, but that I had started to think unachievable as I had put such a gap between my perception of myself and my behaviour and what is should be and the rest of the world.

And to top it all off, I feel much better than I did before. I think it's called a virtuous circle, to hark back to the earlier analogy.

I can only wish the same for you. Take care, my hypnotic friend. xxx

Just been catching up - got nothing much to add to the wonderful things everyone else is saying, but loving some of the analogies. Sometimes we plod along and allow things to happen, for various reasons, often because we are scared of the alternative. Have you seen the top of my wardrobe!!!

Morning guys - Pickle, that was an excellent post and is exactly how I am feeling things are going for me right now. Strange how things develop!

gilli, I guess the top of your wardrobe is one of those "feel the fear" things - but very satisfying when it is done. Now that we are definitely into Autumn, I need to go through my wardrobe and have a sort out......that is a job for the weekend I think!

Today I am off work, as I am on Monday. So a nice long weekend for me. Hoping to meet my friend for coffee this morning, then I am taking DS to the airport later as he is off for some glacier skiing for half term. Lucky beggar! Monday I am meeting P which will be lovely, so a nice few days ahead of me I hope!

Hopefully it is payday today - off to check banking next!

    Have a good day x
