Thank you! Good things continue to happen, and out of the blue I saw one of my BiL's and SiL with their children - these were people I was quite close to, and am godmother to one of the children, but I haven't seen them since XOH left. Was lovely to see them, really made my day, and we will definitely see each other again. It is one of those things that the longer you don't have contact, the harder it is to know whether they want contact, etc. So for it to happen like this was ideal.

Also booked train tickets to meet P next week. I have a day off so we can have lunch, wine and girlie gossip. Looking forward to that one hugely :D

Went to the gym, was very very busy, so didn't manage to use all the equipment I wanted. Mondays seem to be one of the busiest days there, so will avoid going early in the week from now on, as it just frustrated me having to wait for kit to use.

So, all in all, not a bad day at all - for a Monday :rotfl:

Yes not bad at all - just one of those good days that crops up from time to time. Was busy at work, the time flew by.....stuff like that.

I an appreciate that. I lost some friends in the same way - I didn't feel I could contact them and they didn't feel they could contact me. Then when it was sorted out, it was obvious we were both too sensitive.
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

Say hello to her from me. Her running thread is still going strong.

I have seen the XOH's parents from time to time, and they're really like "OH SHIITTT!!!" and take a dive into the nearest place they can.

I'm sure if I ever saw them on a plane, it would be a case of "open that door and outta here!" :rotfl:

It is fair to say there is no love lost between me and some members of that family. But there are just a couple of threads of it that I do miss.

Z, I will certainly say Hi to P for you. It will be good to see her and to catch up.
