Hi Hypno! Glad you've got those euros - you really are on your way now! But I'm sensing you're still at work?

Interesting what you've written about the law of attraction - in a way, I can see what happens with clients - if someone's focussed in on how bad things are, they really do simply *ignore* the good stuff, and its there, of course. But if we can stay positive, we really limit the effect of whatever bad stuff is around. We still need to pace ourselves, of course - I've given myself the afternoon off, after that appointment this afternoon (which was okay, nothing horrendous). So now I've given myself rest and space, I'm freed up to feel positive again, rather than driving myself into the ground. Works for me.

By the way - we want tales of bikinis, of swish beach bars, and glamorous bistros from your holiday. Deal?

    Yes still at work.....

.....but there will be tales of said bikinis and all things sunny.....and probably the odd picture on facebook.

Emphasis on the "odd" I would guess :rotfl:

Right, on with some more work! Have a good evening all!

Just 2 more working days to get through.....busy busy busy but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

After work tonight I have a leg wax and pedicure, so will be as ready as I can be for those bikinis....then on of the girls has a birthday today and has planned a night on the town - I will head out for the meal, but have brought my car in to let me get away early (plus not drinking will help with the cost) as I have plenty to do before hols, and will be going straight from work to the salon, then straight from there to the bash....so a long day (although not all work of course!).

I pulled out a load of holiday clothes and dumped them on the bed, and also found a bag to put them in later. That almost constitutes being packed in my book!!

Car is full of petrol, a bottle of oil and some screenwash are ready for top ups and someone has been roped in to feed the cat.

    Definitely getting there!

Always remember Hypno, they have shops in France ;). Take money, cards, passport, insurance details, kids & books - you can get the rest there. Best take a corkscrew as well in case none where you're staying - now that WOULD be a 1st night emergency

Similarly, my former colleagues started some mornings with the statement "this is going to be a carp day" (guess what they got;))or said how great things were at the old office, denying any chance of growth at the new office. People, eh? :rotfl:

Butti, a sweatshirt is on the pile to take :)

SB - you are quite right - expectation of rubbish generally brings us rubbish. However, we are so used to saying the negative stuff, we don't even realise we are doing it most of the time! Once we listen to ourselves, and change the way we think, and the way we phrase things, it is amazing how much of a difference we can achieve!

They do but the prices in the supermarkets!
I've just come back from 10 days in France and was shocked at the prices of basics, so anything that is dull (tea/coffee/sugar/pasta/salt/vinegar/tinned tomatoes/washing up liquid etc) take with you and save your money for nice things (croissants/brioche/patisserie etc).

On the plus side the village restaurants did a very good 4 course meal with wine and coffee for 11 Euros.

I stocked up last night at Mr T's on cereals, mars bars, bottles of squash, coffee etc and will take cleaning stuff from home.

One of the benefits of driving down!
