Hi Hypno, I LOVE the new sig too XXX'The road to a friends house is never long'0
-
Lots of thumbs up then for all things shoes and Hobbs related.......I like
So, today has been spent with friends. Was lovely and relaxing but still very tiring, so apart from another load of washing and a bit of a potter around, I don't think I will be doing much other than having an early night, ready for whatever next week has instore for me!
I have been re-reading my law of attraction books these last few days as I have recognised that when I am in a tired cycle, the negativity starts to creep in. Regardless of whether people believe in asking the universe for stuff, I do truly believe that negative thinking brings negative returns, and that positive thinking can only lead you to positive things......and I have always believed this.
However, I think in the past, although I have tried to apply this - and indeed teach it as part of my therapy work, I have sometimes been too caught up in a lack of energy to make the effort to think in the right way, and as I say, I have noticed this creeping in, just a little, very recently.
So to nip it in the bud and get me back on the positive track, the books have come out and I find myself instantly thinking differently. Sometimes it is only a subtle change, but it really does make a difference to how I get through my days.....
So, on that basis, I need to re-write my second paragraph just to say that today was lovely and relaxing and leads me nicely into an early night which in turn will give me the focus I need to deal with whatever comes my way this week

nice post Hypno. I am with you on the tiredness and negativity. I just pulled out my old faithful Art of Happiness book by Dalai Llama. Always puts me back on track does that.
So a nice, well deserved relaxing evening to recharge those batteries ready for the next thrilling instalment is definitely the way to go.Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -

And life continues to be good
I think we are always a work in progress and need to go back to working at our positivity every so often. When things are better, it's so easy to start to take it for granted and forget that till the niggles start.
And don't forget the healthy eating to go with it!
I hope the day goes well. But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0 -
Hi Tricia! The healthy eating is not doing badly - am far more routine in my eating now that I have started to refocus on it again, and although snacking hasn't disappeared altogether, it is certainly not being done as a matter of course and my three meals a day are much more balanced, both in time and content.
Coffee avoided again this morning so will put money in the pot.....and will get on with the challenges of the day!

Hi Hypno, saw this and thought of you....
"I'm a HANDFUL. I'm strong willed, independent, a bit outspoken. I sometimes make mistakes, I am sometimes out of control and at times hard to handle but I love and give with all my heart. If you can't handle me at my worst then you sure don't deserve me at my best. "
On a MSE coffee note, Aldi have re-stocked their packs of coffee bags. 10 for about £1.39, and it's real coffee. I bought some for a colleague/friend's birthday as she loves them. There are three types, Colombian, Kenyan and another that I can't remember. I get very confussled by all the different types.
Satchmo xWhat would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
I love that quote, satchmo - it says quite a lot that hits right on home!!
We don't have an Aldi near us, but I will keep an eye out when I am on my travels, thank you!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I love the logic about the 'pots' money actually saving you more than the amount put in, and you are so right. The rest of the tenner would just disappear somewhere.

Unpredictable is the best word I think.....opened Down 60 points, and less than an hour later is up 35, so a range already of almost 100 points.

Chaps on Wall Street have been saying they've had "pizza days" over the last week i.e. too busy to go out to lunch... hope all went well!‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
