Hmm I've got a big rosemary plant at home, maybe I should start selling clippings as a miracle cure
It is supposed to be very good for alertness and concentration, might need to test that out at work! Rtandon - the straight oil should work too, although there might be a combination of things in the pulse point stuff that work together.
Nice one on avoiding Nero Hypno!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Rosemary's also very good for aching muscles in the bath
Currently have some dabbed on my wrists and feeling quite alert - although also rather panicky about how much there is to do - maybe it wakened me out of my fog to be able to see my to do list clearly?? :rotfl:0 -

Although please do not use it if you are pregnant - it can bring on contractions, which is fine if you are overdue your date, but not great if in the earlier stages of pregnancy.
I remember this because I bought some when my darling dd was being stubborn and I was trying to encourage her to make an appearance!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Ooh, rosemary oil - I have a biiiiig rosemary bush in my new garden, tho it hasn't flowered this year. Might need to give it some TLC, and then it can give me some oil.
Hope your day is going okay, Hypno - I know what you mean about being tired from the mugginess.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Hmm maybe sometimes the fog is a good thing :rotfl: Last time I had a cold I discovered rosemary tea is good for sore throats and clearing your head - tastes a bit like disinfectant though :rotfl:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

if my DS even tried pole vaulting he would no doubt break the pole, break the light fitting, break the bed and say OOPS and leave it all for me to clear up :rotfl:5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Ah the joys of having sons :rotfl:
I did send DS an "after" picture of his room on the text. No comment, just the picture, and got the response:
"wow, thank you. Are you magic or something like that???"
How long he will keep it tidy for, is another matter.....he is home at the weekend.....I wouldn't want to venture in there much beyond about Tuesday!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Ah but is DS going to pay the cleaner?
For concentration Clary Sage is a good oil to burn in the working environment. Although be warned it can also bring on hallucinations! Bergamot is a great refreshing oil and I often use it in the shower in the mornings. Although you need to be careful in going out in the sun after you have used it.Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
My cleaner has so far stayed away from his room - I told her that I accepted fully that I don't pay her enough in terms of danger money
However, she will put in an appearance there this week, and we shall take it from there. I am not expecting long lasting miracles, and there is only so much that one non-mother should be expected to do
I did set out to buy some essential oils at lunchtime, but bumped into my lovely friend and had coffee with him instead.....which for some reason seemed to perk me up just a little.......:DSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground.
