I thought maybe I was the only one who heard her say it but apparently not - we have had a good laugh about it today. Poor Minister got flustered I think because the organist didn't turn up and we had to recite instead of sing the first hymn .

So, midweek already - 10 days until my holidays and I sooooo need that break. Coffee duly bypassed again this morning - and again very difficult to do, but I figure that it has to be done if I am going to keep those "fun" pots building up.

Out to the football this evening - just a pre-season friendly, but will be good to see some of the guys and have a post match beer.....

Have a good day everyone xx

I miss the beginning of the season-proper because I am on hols, so although this is very much 2nd best in terms of atmosphere and the like, it will be a nice reminder of things to look forward to when I come home from France.

Thanks taxi - just need to shake off this overwhelming feeling of tiredness.

Came straight home after the match last night - couldn't even manage one drink with the guys :o Still, saved on cash I suppose!

I went out like a light, which I haven't done for a few nights (blamed it on the heat earlier in the week) but I woke at 4am and then really struggled to doze :(

I just need my holiday I think - although I have been to Rome, a 4 day city break isn't the same relaxing experience as 2 weeks on a sunlounger with nothing more to do than reach for another book! And of course work is full on, and has been for a while, which is good given the current economic situation, I am lucky to be employed in such a good job....

    blah blah blah......!

Its good that you have a relaxing time to look forward to! And the heat has certainly made it difficult to sleep - even now, tho its quite cool outside, its really hot up on the first floor, grr.
