Good morning all and happy Friday :j

Nothing much to report here - money still stretching far enough, which is an achievement in itself. Nothing major planned for the weekend except the usual skiing blah blah blah. Potentially a couple of drinks after work but I am rather tired this week so don't want it to be a late one, plus the cost of it could be better put towards holiday spends for next month.

Hoping for lunch out today - my turn to pay, but my "spends" budget for this week is still pretty much intact so no problems there

All's well here and I hope it is for you guys too x

Life being what it is, we had to snatch a coffee mid morning instead.

Even then, I was hauled back to the office on an "urgent" matter (how can anything be as urgent as having a lovely coffee with a lovely friend....bah!) mid way, and ended up having a very disjointed coffee date.....dashing back to finish the conversation and the drink asap!

But that's the way it is.....no one can ever say my life is predictable, and thankfully we both have jobs that are as demanding, so we both understand the way it goes!

Still, am v. grateful for what I have :D:D

Morning guys - the weekend is upon us :T

So, early finish last night, I was tired so wanted to be on an early bus home - total spends £3.40 on crisps as others kindly bought the wine this week. And because of the early finish, used my bus ticket rather than getting a cab, so all good there. Also, despite it being my turn to pay for lunch, my coffee earlier in the day was bought for me, so no cost there either.

Ok, so that just means that it is my turn paying for all things social next week, but for this week the spends were kept very low, and that part of the envelope will carry over......

Tomorrow is a ski day (today should have been too, but I am reducing the amount we do a bit this year) so today will be a pottering one - although I will be heading out for a long run this afternoon.....Due to be 2 hours 20 mins....cue the heavy rain in Norfolk!!

I have a gammon joint in the slow cooker - so ham egg and chips for dinner tonight....or perhaps it would make the ideal after ski dinner when we return tomorrow - hmmmm.......
