Living life, loving life.......hypno's having a ball!

Carbs make me feel sluggish - I've mentioned before an intolerance to yeast, and if I have too many carbs it increases the yeast and I can feel pretty darned awful (as well as being incredibly bloaty which does not look good!!).
If I reduce the carbs significantly, I feel hugely better,.......until I start to run too much and then my body notices the lack of fuel.
So I need (like every other area of my life) to strike a balance. So, cutting out refined carbs, sugar, white rice, etc etc and trying to replace potatoes etc with green veg and salad is the main thing.
This also helps with the cutting out snacks in the course of the day, as they are invariably sugary
It doesn't, however go as far as an Atkins-esque way of eating, although if I really am feeling poorly I will do this as a temporary measure.
So far so good - the last few days have been much easier than I expected once I got that first day or so out of the way. Tonight will be some sort of thai chicken thing with a little brown rice, which I am looking forward toSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. I am exactly the same- just recently been on guide hols- and the other leader ordered white bread, pasta, pizzas..now i am not a slim girl but i looked positively preggers from bloating..i felt awful and looked awful (camp hair didn't help either) So in future i know what i will be avoiding if i can.:(Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

It really can make a difference, can't it! I am a real sugar fiend, so it really can be a battle, but it is so worth it really.
I just need to actually stick with it. SeemplesSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Hey Hypno, Reading the above and just bobbing in as I'm back on South Beach again to get some weight off for hols. It's hardcore but it all comes off the belly, which is ace for me. Now I just need to stick to it! X'The road to a friends house is never long'0

Morning all - middle of the week, but it seems to be dragging along for some reason!
Moneywise all still going according to plan - just over 2 weeks til payday and budgets obviously tight, but as long as there are no big unexpected incidents to cover, I should be alright :T
Foodwise - ok too - had to resist a chocolate brownie this morning.....need to ensure wise choices are made throughout the day. I am tired, though having had a bad nights sleep so think that is going to be the thing that makes me struggle.....:o
**note to self - craves sugar when not slept well**
Lifewise - no complaints
Hope you all have a good day xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

had to resist a chocolate brownie this morning.....
...would a small handful of honey roasted almonds or macadamia nuts help instead?
