  • ahhhhh its great to be back on board!!

  • I love it here. It gives me so much inspiration. I realised I needed to seriously reduce my alcohol intake when I was walking through the door after work and couldn't wait to pour myself a drink. I also started to feel anxious if we didn't have any booze in the house. I didn't like that I needed a drink so much.

I'm also off the ciggies so am feeling completly toxin free at the moment.

I'm not drinking tonight. Having an early night with a cup of tea and a good book. That makes 3 AF days this month.

Watched the final of the great british bake off this eve and was so inspired i went and made rhubarb crumble muffins, yummylicious, i had one but need to go to bed before i eat any more ~ fat class tmoro eve.

One of the things i like about being AF during the week is that the evening seems to last for ages, and i love baking but tend to do most of it at the weekends so was nice this eve to do a spot of baking.
I seem to be back in the 'AF and WW zone' but not getting too complacent and taking it a day at a time as i know how quickly i can slip back into old ways

  • 3 tonight shaggy and 2 for the SNC bearacus, please :)

Very very tired tonight so no desire to be drinking. OH is away tomorrow though, so I imagine there'll be a few bells. Won't get in from work until gone 9 though so I should be OK hopefully.

Very faintest of bells tonight but they soon died away and then it was plain sailing. (bells? sailing? metaphors? I need the confused smiley). It helps that I wasn't watching anything with people drinking on television tonight. Anyone on here works at Holby City? cos I don't think they've been to the bar in an age and they used to go every week!;)

2AF for October please Shaggy and 2 for the SNC thanks Bearacus.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
