Gently fry some chopped leeks, allow to cool, and mix through sausagement.

How about adding some grated cheese over the sausagement before wrapping in the pastry.

I have just made a batch of plain sausage rolls but does anyone do anything to them to make them more exciting. I still have half of my sausagemeat left and hoping for some inspiration please?

    :)

If you like hot, piri-piri sauce + garlic or chilli sauce + garlic.

If they're home made, a dash of strong cheese in the pastry(?) mix helps as well.

My daughter adds garlic to the sausage meat and chopped apple. *slurp!*
