ABS light staying on

If Vaux diagnosed it, why didn't they fix it?
If Kwik-fit fixed it, maybe they didn't clear the fault code from the ECU? There may not be a further fault? Try disconnecting the battery for 30secs and reconnecting. It will clear any faults, and if the light comes back on then you know there's another problem.:A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things. I suspect Vaux wanted more than Kwik fit did.
The OP would need to make sure they have all their radio codes before disconnecting the battery.0 -

i would have VX check it than kwick !!!!!! TBH. or a independant. either the ABS sensor they removed and replaced was fine and it was another sensor. did you tell them what side had been diagnosed did VX tell you? if all sensors fine then ABs unit/relay or ABS rings on the driveshafts or wiring inbetween.0

Find a friendly independent to sort it out and bear in mind that the brakes are still fully functional, you have just lost the extra safety feature of ABS when the warning light is on.0

Going to Vauxhaull, for a diagnosis, and then to Kwik Fit for the repair? So I guess Kwik Fit didn't do a diagnosis again, and you told them what wanted fixing from Vauxhall's diagnosis. You got the diagnosis (though wrong) so you got what what you paid for, and you got the repair which you asked and paid for.
Had you let Vauxhall fix it, or let Kwik Fit diagnose and fix it, you might have had some grounds for complaint.0 -
Had the same problem on my old 96 BMW 318.
Just took the ABS bulb out.
That fixed the problem. The DWP = Legally kicking the Disabled when they are down.0 -

MOT fail with any decent tester now though who will look for the bulb sequence when turning the ignition on.0 -
