Am I missing something, a standard Vauxhall warranty was for 3 years on an 07 plate car surely?
The car is now 4 years old..:A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things. I got Vauxhall to check what the problem was first paid them £26 to diagnose the prob, got it fixed at kwik fit but it's not fixed went back to vauxhall and they said that the diagnostics only identify first faultSeptember GC 30th aug-4th Oct £332.74/£375 NSD 3

This is getting confusing......
"First fault" would imply more than one fault, this is highly unlikely. More likely it needs looking at properly and not just with a computer.
It's not complex (in fact its a simple fault), but the computer cannot differentiate between one end of a wire and another, only a man with a multi-meter can do that.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

I am a woman but I am only going on what vauxhall said, they said it was the wheel sensor causing the prob but if it's anything else connected then it doesn't show up and you need to get it re diagnosedSeptember GC 30th aug-4th Oct £332.74/£375 NSD 3

I suggest that if you insist on going to Kwik-Fit, that you let them put it on their diagnostics and find the fault. Rather than going to Vauxhall, then to Kwik Fit, then back to Vauxhall. Things can quite easily be lost in translation, and misinterpreted.
Either get all the work done at Vauxhall, or at Kwik Fit. That way if something does go wrong you only have one set of mechanics to deal with.
Vauxhall are, quite rightly, charging you to put your car on their diagnostics machine. If you had let Vauxhall do the work, from fault finding to replacement, I suspect they'd have put it back on their diagnostics FOC.0 -

Well no, just get the fault diagnosed and fixed at one place or the other.0
