The average woman's wardrobe has £4,000 worth of clothes in. Not mine. More like £40.

Wish I had a market that sold fruit and veg individually, everything is bagged up just like in Mr T's or Ald!'s and certainly not as cheap as shown in the programme! I've certainly not come across anywhere you can buy just 2 eggs (and why on earth would you want to - they are so useful for all sorts of things).

  • I am really enjoying this series, happy they have got Jane back (one for the older women from past series) as I really like her tips. Hated that they got rid of the older women for a long time, I am 25 but I find them the most useful/informative.

What a daft young man that spends all that money on gadgets.

Why don't they get real average people and help them save money and get out of debt

I thought it laughable (but very sad from the young man's perspective for all the wasted money) that they were getting all excited because he'd sold stuff he'd spent £ thousands on and got a few £ hundred back 'towards a deposit for a house'.

I hope he's got a lot of patience.

The best thing in that episode, imho, was the guy's friend - now he had a lot of common sense.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I've stopped wasting my time on it, I think if you get to a certain age and stage in moneysaving, the programme is less than helpful - and certainly doesn't live up to any image of "scrimping".

It was right at the end. If you have a crosshead screw where the screwdriver won't grip any more all you do is stretch an elastic band over it, then push the screwdriver in and it will grip and help you unscrew it.

I loved the screw one too! The tip was if you have a worn screw that won't undo, use a bigger screwdriver through an elastic band. This will let the screwdriver head grip apparently and the screw will come out.
