40% in one month is still AMAZING!!! I am doing the one debt vs 100 days challenge and think that will be a challenge- never mind blitzing 40% of a debt in 30days!!! Keep on plodding away.

Thank you Cassidy!! The one debt vs 100 days sounds waaaay more realistic upon reflection, will maybe go for that challenge for my next creditor ;)
  • Hello!

I haven't done well, I manged to pay off 1021 but I have run up a CC bill of nearly 400 pounds......train tickets, dinner out, my shopping......various things on e bay that i needed............thus meaning I only paid of about 600 quid, not brilliant just what I normally pay.

I have joined the 100 days thread to pay all off completely. its going to be flipping hard but I really want it done.

I think you should be be pleased with your self, at least you didn't run up more debt and your total went down = success!

    Hi Buffy,

Well done, £600 is still a HUGE amount to have paid off! I think I might join you on the 100 days thread as I need to get rid of mine too. I am glad its now under £1k and it means that by the time I have paid this off, my next creditor will be under £1k with just the minimum monthly payment so that one won't feel too massive an amount either.

I think 30 days was a bit optimistic, but hey ho, its coming down like you said!

Will pop over to the 100 days thread tomorrow and sign up!

    Hi there

I have just managed to catch up. Well done on what you have achieved this far. 40% is far far better than 0% :D

I will try and keep up.Dont know what happened. But I am here and supporting from the sideline. I will have to think about doing one of the challenges myself, I have a few odds and ends I need to get rid of too.

    Take care ;)

Hi Footiemad, thanks for dropping by! :) Yes 40% is definately better than 0%, the light at the end of the tunnel is getting closer!

I will keep this challenge/diary updated until this creditor is gone, hopefully it won't be too many more days, but we'll see. I have my DD's birthday this month so don't want to overpay on the debts too much and leave myself short for getting her birthday presents and party sorted!

I'm thinking about doing the 1 debt vs 100 days for my next challenge if you fancy joining me?

    Speak soon! :)
