    Part of the Furniture
I have to say with mine I've hardly used the carrycot, mainly because of the weight of it and the fact that I have a lot of stairs to contend with in my flat.

I use the base all the time though with my maxi cosy car seat.

I have the I candy apple and I absolutely love it, it's the 3rd pram I've had!

My friends all had bugaboos but they were too small in height and low down for me.

The ICandy apple has the widest range of height etc

The only thing I would say is like the bugaboo it does take up a Kim of boot space, but then again so did my m&p one

I did think about the oyster and v nearly ordered it when I came across the iCandy as it's v similar to the Icandy but cheaper but the iCandy just felt more me!!
  • If she's wanting the trendy pram - the iCandy Peach is the one to get. I have the iCandy Peach Blossom (the double) and it is brilliant. I also have a pink lining bag. It maybe expensive but it's still looking new after 2 babies things being stuffed in, used and abused everyday and being thrown in the washing machine every month!

Save your money and buy some beautiful slings instead http://didymos.com/index.php?s=sondermodelle.inc&t=limited%20slings- much more practical - especially if you have a miniature car! :):):):)

My mum will argue with me but I want the icandy and it's compact and I don't fancy having a beast of a pram.
On a side note stokke highchairs are amazing. My sister still is in one at 8 she loves it and I think mums giving it to me :)

  • Hi

I was thinkning to buy a iCandy or a Bugaboo but I ended up with a Concord Neon pushchair 3 in 1. Looks very modern Is not as bulky as the iCandy folds down very easy and quite small ( even the carry cot folds down in half)

I can t post a link yet but if you type Condord Neon into google i think Kiddycare sells them.

I have loved my Mutsy 4rider. It is still going strong after 2 babies. I would say that its worth considering the high possibility that you will need a double - Most of my friends that had their first baby have gone on to have another and have had to purchase a double. However with the mutsy (urban rider not the 4rider), phil and ted and the icandy you can make it into a double at a later date. I wish I had considered that when buying my buggy.

    This is the 4rider

It looks fab. The seat unit is massive and so still fits my 3yr old. Easy to manouvre. Takes the maxi cosi. I love it.

Good Luck - I loved shopping for baby stuff ( that was back in the day when we had money to spend).

The icandy cherry is lovely and light and is great if you're not that tall (I'm 5ft). The basket is a good size for bits and bobs too. My only niggle is that when using you have moved on from the carrycot to the pushchair seat, it is never fully upright - your little one will always be slightly reclined. It really bugs me, and my lo is always trying to lean forward so she can see more.
However, I will be using it all again for my next baby, due very soon, so overall I do think it is a lovely set.
  • I looked at the oyster pearl as liked the size as we have a corsa. In the end we went with the mothercare my4. With this you don't get the extra carry cot as it is the pram and pushchair in one which goes out to the full lie flat position for newborns. Less storage in the long run as no extra carrycot to store. Only downside is you have to take the pram/pushchair seat off to fold up the wheels and then you have a rather large unfolded seat unit which you do not get on the oyster as the pushchair seat does fold in half.
Weels fit in the boot although we have to take the bigger back wheels off, but there is a quick release button for this. The car seat (maxi cosi) goes straight onto the wheels and the pram/pushchair part will fit in the car as well.:j
