I thought I wanted an I candy as they looked great online but I thought they were heavy and not very manoueverable when I tried one out in store. We went for a bugaboo in the end which I love. It's so easy and light and turns on a sixpence. Though I went for the bee which does not have a carrycot option, so the chamaleon which does may not have the same advantages.

Does the Bee take a car seat?

Sooo pretty, but how much?!

Saying that though, it's a good job I didn't know Radley did baby chaging bags or that's what I would have bought :o

    She choose the one above.

I thought it was splashing out to buy the one that matched the pushchair:rotfl:

    Mine was nylon from Mothercare:p

If she goes for a Bugaboo tell her to have a look at Poshbugs on Facebook. The lady is extremely talented at making covers for the Bugaboos in all sorts of funky styles. http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Poshbugs/131667010194954

My friend has a Cameleon and it's lovely but wouldn't fit in my car (Fiesta)

I have the icandy cherry and I love it as it is light, very manouverable, easy to push (even with a toddler in it), easy to put up/down, can have the carseat straight on the frame and has a large enough shopping basket for day-to-day use.

The only downsides to the icandy cherry are:
    1. the carrycot is quite small - it fitted my LO to 6months when he could sit up and go in the buggy seat but was getting cosy.
    2. It doesn't have supension so can be a little bumpy if you are pushing along a rough country track. But it is so light that it is easy to push off road and the bumpy-ness has never bothered my LO, he quite likes it. Also 99.9% of the time I am walking along pavements / paths in the park / round the shops so easy turning and easy to push is better for me than suspension.
My LO is now 2 1/2 and we still use the ICandy cherry regularly. We also have an OBaby stroller for holidays but compared to the ICandy I find it heavy and hard to turn with my LO in it.

A friend has the ICandy Apple and she has found that as it is larger / heavier it was harder to manouver / push. She now wishes she'd gone for the Cherry instead.

I'd suggest you go to a baby shop and have fun deciding on a pram.

My friend has a Bugaboo Chameleon and she loves it but did warn about the amount of car space it takes up. Even if a bigger car means that it can fit in for everyday use don't forget that for going away they will probably miss the extra space they;d have had with a smaller pushchair. Worth taking into account the sort of holidays they have, and whether they will be bringing travelcot etc.

I tried quite a few before settling on the Mamas and Papas Zoom. it comes with a carrycot, can face bothways, folds up small, is lightweight, etc etc.

I tried more expensive ones but couldn't justify the cost :p I didn't want to spend so much that I'd be too precious about the buggy. Will have enough things to worry about :rotfl:

I got a Pink Lining changing bag in their sale a few month's ago. Was half price and is a beautiful bag. That's my only splurge.

We're having a similar dilemma, and I think we are going to opt for the UPPAbaby Vista. It's an american pram which only came onto the UK market last year, so there aren't too many of them about, but it got best travel system from Which? last month and seems to be getting rave reviews. http://www.uppababy.co.uk/

It's quite similar to the iCandy Peach, but with a much smaller price tag (we can get for less than £500 complete from the local pram centre). I know we'll be using the car a lot with bub, so the fact that you can collapse the buggy with the seat unit still attached is great. The carrycot/bassinette also sits a little bit higher and the seat unit is desinged to sit higer too menaing that baby/toddler is at table height if you are eating out (one of the plus points of the Stokke).

Personally I hate the Chameleon, but don't mind the bugaboo bee. We had narrowed it down to the Stokke or the iCandy Peach, but I think we are both much happier with the UPPAbabby Vista.

I have a Bugaboo Chameleon which I love, but the carrycot is heavy and you need a largish boot on your car.

How am I going to get to heaven?,

Got the Bugaboo Cam and love it.

    Pro's

    Roomy Carry cot

Pushchair can be forward or rear facing

The handle can flip over which means you can easily have the large wheels at the front - which was invaluable in the snow (also good for rough terrain)

The seats quite large and lays almost flat

Very, very easy to push and can do a 360 spin one handed ( great for going backwards through shop doors)

    Height adjustable handle.

Holds its value well if you want to ebay it.

    looks great

    Cons

Cost (but got mine on line from mothercare with a 20% code)

    Need a large boot

Two part fold, which is a bit of a pain.
