im 22 and think that a throw/hot water bottle are a fab idea for a gift, i think its really nice that your putting so much thought into it :T0

anything but the whsmith vouchers - vouchers are rubbish! hehe. Especially in the days of internet shopping because you just end up spending more on something and I know you're not spending "real money" but I know lots of people - especially people my age hate gift vouchers because they feel like they are being ripped off buying on the high st.
I do think a throw or a nice dressing gown or similar would be nice. Bath smelly stuff isn't so good - because most students have horrible bathrooms which they avoid where possible and only have quick showers or they don't even have a bath so wouldn't get to use it except from when they go home, but nice cuddly bath robe to wrap yourself in when running from a shared bathroom can be nice..
blankets and cushions and things also sound great.
Especially if she does like reading because she can snuggle up in her bed with lots of blankets and soft things around her and have a good read.
editted to add that I am a 20 year old girl at uni

At Boots today got a big box of choc's and a hot choc mug with marshmallows etc.
I think I'll forget the voucher and get a couple of mags instead, any ideas?
I've seen a nice throw at au natural for £10 and will get one of those. Really nice and soft.
any other ideas anyone?0 -
I'd change the WH Smiths voucher for a National book token which can be used in many more bookshops, including discount book shops like the works.

i'm 20 and at uni and that is a fab idea. the uni accommodation can be so drab and dreary, it's lovely to have things to cheer the place up!0

They sometimes have nice throws at Dunelm Mill (I got one from there a few years ago and it's still going strong, washes well etc)

Im 23 and the best £7 i spent recently was on my gorgeous fleecy pink dressing gown from primark. It is so warm and cosy, i love it! They also have great fleecy socks.
I agree with the choccies coz its good to just curl up sometimes. I have to recommend asdas belgian flaked truffles. They cost about a £1 and they are amazing.
What about some nice lip balm, as an extra. Nivea do great lip pearl and shine stuff. Just a nice little shimmer for your lips. Great for the winter weather. Or a little set of patterned/funky notebooks always handy for the studies.

She is at university, very bookish & not into trendy music, clothes etc.
She works really hard and therefore I thought of giving her the following for her birthday:
A perfume set, but don't know what would appeal to her.
or
A nice faux fur throw (neutral colour) hot water bottle with faux fur cover and a big box of chocs.
Any other ideas appreciated.
For xmas I've got;
A totes nightshirt and socks
Pampering bath set
A Wh smith £10 voucher for her to get a good book
A mug and hot choc.
Put all of the above together in a hamper.
It has been a long time since I was 20 so ideas please!
I am a 20 year old girl [Well... 21] and I would love that
