Plenty of Plusnet feedback on these boards, just search on it. Mostly favourable, but some differ. No free lunch, and no free laptop

pretty open about problems forum is good for sorting any probs , part of bt so communication with engineers better than talk talk if faults appear imo
3 month free deal at moment makes it pretty cheap.0 -
I'm happy with Plus.net. Have them at two properties. We lived on Skye with my father-in-law, and have had the BB with them for about 18 months, and never had a problem. Well, once the speed was really slow for a few days. i kept telling my father-in-law to restart the router, which he didn't. Eventually, everything stopped so he had to restart, normal speed instantly resumed.
Have Plus.net phone and BB down here in Bedford, and the service has been reliable. One Sunday evening the internet went down, rang tech support and had to wait for about 15 minutes. Asked me to try the test socket, but it was about 11 pm and I was tired, so said I'd try in the morning, but didn't have to as things were sorted by then.
Phone used to be a better deal, with free international minutes on the included calls, but that went away in January. However, I rang them and told them O2 had a good offer for me, and they gave me any time calls and international minutes for the price I was paying for evenings and weekends and no international minutes.
Their forums are active and have helpful employees and other members answering questions, so even though owned by BT, they haven't been wrecked (yet).
Long story short, if their packages fit your requirements, I would recommend them.0 -
I have Broadband, Phone line & Calls package. I'm happy with them too.If it wasn't for the mistakes I made in the past (and learned from), I wouldn't be who and where I am today. It doesn't matter if you've cocked up, what matters is that you put it right and apologise. x0
