Well done MSE. There have been two threads on this started yesterday when it WAS news.
And they put it in the Savings part of the forum instead of the Tax Free part of the forum.
    Do try to keep up.

Would this be a regular saver or lump sum only?

Oh for goodness sake. MSE is not and has never been a 'breaking news' site. If you want up to the minute news, try http://www.bbc.co.uk/news

Calm down dear. I don't think I ever did say anything like that.
What I did say was that there were two existing threads and this one was in the wrong place.
Do try to keep up, or is Martin your dad ... in which case, sorry.

Lump sum ... but, you can, up to the overall limit, take out as many as you want.
So, if the issue limit is £15K which is what it used to be, you could, for example, do £1K each month for 15 months or £100 for 150 months.

    No you cannot.
  • What's the betting the next issue will be CPI-linked, not RPI-linked as previously.

,,,,,,,,it will be a bit of a lottery as to wither you have the £15k re each issue when they go on sale as they will probably close within two weeks......they could set a lower limit say £5k to give more people a chance...
