Is it actually possible to have used this much gas?

But, Sarah, nPower's tariffs include an £105 annual bonus. Their tariffs are only competitive if you stick with them for 12 months at a time. So their seasonal weighting should not matter to you as you are pretty well committed to being with them for whole years anywhence.
But I just dont get why they put us onto £50 a month in the first place if they knew it wouldn't cover us for ther year?0 -
Neither do I. But did you really think that that was a reasonable sum? Even with British Gas (or other non-seasonal weighting suppliers) you would still owe more than £600 after only paying £50 per month.
And, re post #21, sorry, I meant the tier 1 - tier 2 part of the tier 1 price could be £140 odd.
That is, 17,000 units if at 3p cost £510. The 4,000 tier 1 units cost an extra 3.5p or an extra £140.0 -

In our old house we only had electricity, no gas.. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!0 -
I know gas heating is supposed to be cheaper than electrical but it ain't that more inexpensive!
Yes, it is annoying being caught by a salesperson like that but the good news is that ultimately, if you see the tariff through for the year, you probably are on a decently priced tariff. And you will have six months (twelve if lucky) to pay back the underpayments with a more realistic debit instalment.0
