Plant identification and pest help

Oh I've just been out to the garden and noticed progress on one of the unidentified plants..and a few others! So could I ask for more help again please?
These are the ones which were a few pages back too, that someone suggested could be iris, there are now signs of deep red/purpleish colour on them

A new one that has recently sprung up but looks extremely long-perhaps a climbing plant?

An unknown but pretty shrub with very pretty flowers

Is this a euphorbia, looks like one Month Don had on gardeners world only a different colour?
And finaly-this is a weed isn't it, is it one of the truly awful ones like all of my others??
As always your help and guidance is very much appreciated.0 -
Yes, 1. does look like irises.
2 is probably perennial Pea (Lathyrus sylvestris.)
3 is an Acer, probably with an unpronounceable Japanese name! Start with palmatum dissectum.
4. Could be almost any euphorbia at that stage.
5. Stylomecon? I'm guessing here! When you break a stem does it exude a yellow or orange sap?0 -
Dave you're my garden guru! I've just been and looked at the weed and the sap is bright yellow-is that good or bad?0

Not bad anyway. It probably is a stylo-somethingorother.
Have a look at this page:

I'm going for Stylophorum now! I'm sure I grew some once. They can seed around, but weren't invasive for me.
My memory isn't what it was.:o0 -
Thanks Dave, I shall have a look. I was sure it would be a terrible weed as so many seem to have been sprouting up!0

Back again guys-this time with some unknown's but also a couple of pictures of plants you have all kindly identified that are now growing well.
Unknowns:
Still not much movement to be able to identify this one, but a bit of a sign of growth ( my FIL is convinced this is some terrible invasive weed

There are two unknowns in this picture-that I think are different plants. There is a large shrub at the back which has the remains of flowers from last year on it-the close up pic

Then there is this growing in the foreground just above the acer-which I think is a different plant??
Finally an unknown variety of clematis-would love to identify this so I can prune it correctly. I adore clematis and this is one of about 6 in the garden!
And now a few updates:
Pretty iris growing under the magnolia tree-can I split these or move them (there's a clump further back that look to be suffering from lack of light I think)
Beautiful peonies-about 7 clumps of this in the garden

Perenial cornflower identified by my garden guru Dave!
Wiseria and my little man sat by the pergola-I didn't have this identified but think it's glorious!

I think the clematis is called Nelly Moser, its beautiful.0

First one is Lysimachia punctata, which will flower shortly.
No idea about 2. I'm not a guru, but having grown many plants to sell, I recognise those I've had. It looks like cosmos foliage, but it must be something hardy. Scale is difficult to gauge...someone tell me it's not Nigella!:o
Three is a weed, but I've no polite name for it. Get rid asap.
Four could be a verbascum, or foxglove...not sure.
Five & six have me beaten, I think. Five might be Cytisus battandieri, and six a Veronica. See what others think.
Your Clematis is 'Nelly Moser.' Very popular and quite early to flower.
That's it from me.

I thought it was a nelly moser but on closer inspection I don't think the middle is the same. This one also has a green stripe either side of the pink one. It's really lovely and I spent hours yesterday looking at clematis varieties on the net ha ha0

Is nigella bad then? If so it's sure to be it!
Argh, another weed-this one is also all over the garden. I'm beginning to think I should just grow weeds :rotfl:
Thanks guys0
