Plant identification and pest help
Hi everyone, I would really appreciate some help in identifying a few plants in my garden...and one is being eaten by something, so I wondered if anyone might know what it is and how to stop it. We only inherited the garden in October and there are some nice plants in it but most of them we have no idea what they are. Any help would be much appreciated.
We seem to have a few clumps of buds like this coming up, I'm not sure if they're the same plant but at different stages?

We have two of these very pretty little trees, but smack bang in the middle of a lawn!

This is the one with an unknown pest and I would really like to sort it as it's a well established bush/shrub/tree???

Truly I will be most grateful for any help and advice! Many thanks, Fay.

Top two look like peonies to me, lovely flower bushes with a beautiful scent.

Middle...magnolia maybe or some kind of blossoming cherry? Not sure, and sorry, no idea about the pest but hopefully others will be along to help out.

I agree with peony and some kind of prunus/flowering cherry. Not sure about the shrub, but it looks like one I inherited with this garden - I killed it with brute force!

Agree with peony and prunus - I think the bottom one might be some sort of viburnum?0

Thank you everyone-I love peonies and have recently planted one in the front garden (had no idea what it looked like when growing though, doh!). I don't think the middle one is a magnolia, the flowers are very small and have been out for a couple of weeks now-flowering cherry I will look into. The bottom one is a worry as the damage is all over it and I would really like to know how to treat it. Thanks again everyone0

Mostly frost damage I think.
Give those peonies a feed a couple of times a year and they'll last 75 years ;-)0 -

Just looks like a very few holes to me, which will be an insect or three. Hardly worth spraying for that, the best thing you can do is feed it and get the new growth coming through strongly IMV0
