    Hello :j

Bunked off work early today due to last 2 days of early starts and late finishes :D

Could have stayed and done loads more though so not looking forward to tomorrow

    Apart from work:

    Checked online banking

    Chooks laid 2 eggs :j (I each as 2 chooks :D)

    Washing on line in sunshine

More decluttering in preparation for moving house - 1 large bag of clothes to charity and a pile of old paperwork recycled / shredded :D

Leftovers for lunch, but also succumbed to a chocolate muffin - what is it with this choc muffin addiction and why can't I stick to a diet

Stopped off at supermarket on way home and got some reduced bargains - a breast of lamb for £1.49, enough soup for Thurs and Fri lunches for £1 etc :D Paid (not much) with cash.

HM supper - cheese and chives omelettes (eggs from chooks and chives from pot on patio).

Hi folks , late post from me

cleosmum I know you sometimes come here late some days so just to add to what others have said. Make a note of the times your manager contacts you , it may be useful in the future. Also I don't know what your occy health is like but I have found mine very helpful and I self refer when I need to. They may tell your manager that their harrasing behaviour will result in you being away from work longer. Good luck and big hugs x

    today :

    Hiya
Ive been off 2 weeks and due back in monday. I have a sick note from GP which states work related stress on it, have given them that. When she saw OH yesterday she said to him she 'wouldnt want to have to call in occupational health at this stage' but I would be quite happy, she needs to listen to someone and someone needs to listen to me when I say that its not possible to carry on under the conditions I have been. The day I went off sick she told me that they wouldnt stand for any long term sick. Mind you she also told be I am 'irrational and clearly very ill' right after she told me she had given my colleague more hours even though she had promised them to me :(

Just to echo what a couple of others have said now - if it's only 2 weeks, you've been signed off by your doctor & they have that proof, & you have a date of return as you said, then she really shouldn't be contacting you or your OH that often, certainly not until Friday when she might just want to check you are still fit to return on Monday. To be honest her comments are very unprofessional, no wonder you're off if you have to put up with that! I'd suggest you follow DNMS's advice & contact her first, & perhaps also get a copy of your sickness procedure to ensure you are fulfilling your part, companies do vary on this.

When you go back to work you should really have some sort of meeting with HR & possibly occy health to ensure your working conditions are changed to please everyone - as in you don't end up off work with stress but you are still doing your required hours/tasks etc. Personally I'd be inclined to contact Occupational Health myself if your boss was not prepared to do that, else the same thing will just happen again & it's an endless cycle of ill health for you & bouts of employee absence for them.
