Car Insurance Revelation

I have been with the same insurer for twelve years, ever since I started driving.
I have had to make two claims with them.
I have never had a single problem with my insurers whenever I have needed them.
I have never searched around for car insurance.
I am happy with my insurers.

There's always going to be one exception.
It's like those little boxes, the ones that say "you're the millionth visitor to our website"
Someday, someone must be the millionth customer.
But then again, they click, they suddenly, they're with the rest of us again.0 -
Would you mind telling us which insurer please?
Thanks
I have never had problems making claims either or any dissatisfaction with the service or the price (but then I can read a contract, change my addresss, put a date a diary, cancel on time etc.) A lot of the problmes we see on here come down to people not reading their contract, not re-directing their post, not reading their letters etc.0 -

Another member of the "I'm alright" culture then.0 -
I don't think that's a fair comment.Another member of the "I'm alright" culture then.
I do voluntary work in the road safety sector which not only costs me time but also costs me real money, both to travel to meetings and to do voluntary tutoring.
I was just pointing out that many of the problems we see on here are in fact self-inflicted.
That's an observation not a judgement.
Perhaps you should be less judgemental about people and find out how much they contribute before judging them.0 -
This is probably leading into a plug for the insurer he works for and get commission from ..........

Fine he can send me a pm them if you want to protect everyone else.
I'm a 42 year old adult and I can make up my own mind.
I would certainly not buy insurance on the say so of a stranger but I might do my own research.0 -

I think perhaps if you read your own posts, you may find you've already judged everyone, and found that is every case they must have received the paperwork they claim not to have, and the insurers must not have received anything they have sent to them normally.
But you, you're always ok.0 -
This is probably leading into a plug for the insurer he works for and get commission from, don't encourage him !

A lot of people in the industry purposely insure themselves with a different company than they work for so there is a separation which can be helpful.
There are also plenty of people who prefer insuring with their own co0 -
Maybe I am the exception because I don't shop around? Maybe I'm happy for exactly the same reason? There's always going to be one exception.
I've always paid between around £300 to £450 for my insurance.moonrakerz wrote: »...be interested to know how much your premiums have gone up ..........
I don't work for an insurer, although I have worked in insurance for around twenty years. I'm not entirely sure how you imagine publicising an insurer here would earn me commission. This is probably leading into a plug for the insurer he works for and get commission from, don't encourage him !
I won't, because that's not the point I'm trying to make.Would you mind telling us which insurer please?0
