Why stylus? You may have problems with using QWERTY keyboard on a small touch screen, but you can change it to a traditional Phone Keypad if you wish. At least it's the case for Android 2.2. Not sure about 2.1, but I guess in any case this can be done by using some app.

Just never had a phone with a stylus before so not sure what they're like...I think that's why i thought about the C3, having the QWERTY keypad, but i am wondering about the San Francisco now but not sure i can justify the £99 price tag at the moment...

LG Optimus has a capacitive screen and also bigger than Pulse. It and was available for about £80 at Tesco Mobile (using some voucher).

Don't get the pulse mini - it really is rubbish.

Thanks for all your suggestions, i think if i had the money iw ould go for the San Francisco or the Optimus but as i may have change afoot in the next few months with mobiles i think maybe the C3 is the one. I will check how much it would cost to repair the C905 first at a local shop...

Thanks for all your thoughts it has been much appreciated...:T
