often, answering the call with a fake greeting throws them too. ie "British gas helpline, how can i help you?" i use bgas as example cuz they used to call me a lot to change to them.
this confuses the cold caller, and you get the comment that they thought this was a residential line, very sorry, will remove the number.....0 -
They are called LBM Marketing and work on behalf of quite a few mobile companies. Keep an eye on them, their latest thing seems to be to set people up on new tariifs without them agreeing to it. One person on O2's own forum has had a £2 credit and then later 50 free texts and 50 free mins after LBM tried this scam on him twice.If I've helped you please show your appreciation by using the "Thanks" button
