I get my "safety camera" info from these boys:
http://www.scdb.info/
You can have them broken down to different speed limits, camera types etc (can be a pain so set up)
Or you can just have them as a "camera warning" depending on what you want.
They are very cheap compaired to navman's alternatives. (£9.00 per year) and are updated frequently.
All you need is a USB lead and the navman software - which can be found on torrent sites.
FYI - without a lot of effort, the F20 can not be unlocked.0 -

Got mine today, very impressed with the free delivery, only ordered it yesterday :T
Very easy to use and all is as described above. Cheers OP again :T :T :T

i bagged one for £99.97, it arrived but in central London it would not pick up a signal. however, the battery was at 1-2 bars and asking me to charge it - does it have problems locating satellites when the battery power is low? i would have thought it is like a mobile phone - it will work as normal and then power off when it can do no more?0

Sat Nav tends not to work so well in city centres as the tall buildings can block out the signal.0 -
I love the navman f20. I got it for £99 including delivery, through ebuyer and using google checkout. It's so amazing I'm thinking of proposing to it, but before I comit myself I'd like to know if there are any sites where I can get map updates for it. It tries to take me round a roundabout that doesn't exist any more. :dance:Yay!!! HSBC paid me £6910

No updates yet unfortunately, & when they are available they tend to be quite expensive. The maps are usually a couple of years out of date, due to the time involved for teleatlas & navman to process the map data.Next year we'll be millionaires!0 -
Has anyone managed to load POIs or maps found on the internet onto the Navman F20 using a normal SD card?
If so, how did you do it?0 -
Hi,Using your computer and a card reader/writer format the card and then copy the files to it.pop it in your navman and hey presto.0

Hi, I've got this too. I want to go to Scilly soon. What's the best / cheapest way of getting maps for the navman. I see discs on ebay all the time, but they are never for the F20. Is there anywhere I can download a map and copy it to a blank SD card?0
