Just picked up another one from Braehead.... Tried to use the express checkout and it came up as £79.99 and £49.99. had to go to normal checkout to get it working. Also had a look at a few places for games.. still 12 new titles to come for it....0

Thanks to the OP. Bagged one of these and the games for my son (ok, and me!) in York today after reserving this morning.0

At the checkout the price for both says £49 but when I get the reservation numbers it says £79 for the games and £49 for the Xbox??? The reservation says I can't pick up until Wednesday so does anyone have any idea if i will have to fight it out with the store manager to get this for the 50 quid price??
This offer was advertised in a huge half page advert in The Sun yesterday I believe. Its a national promotional, if they quibble, just get the manager to phone their central tel no who will confirm it for them.
I was tempted and had reserved one for collection today, but, changed my mind, so mine will be showing back in stock at midnight i guess. Go grab it!0 -

For those who were asking as softmodding, you can do it via Ndure instead of going the save game route. You just need to do a hotswap and plug it to your pc for it to be modded.0

Got - mine pretty happy - I am a bit lost re the modding etc - tell me is it worth doing this when the games are so cheap now?
Also does anyone have a good site to visit for info re modding/replacing hardrives and the XBMC I keep hearing about?0 -

Well I think most people who are thinking of modding their Xboxes aren't interested in playing backups. The essential functionality will be XBMC.
Just google up, there are plenty of websites that will help you re diy modding.0 -
i seen these on ebay there only going for £65 so not really making much profit to resell, by the time you add p+p and lsiting fees, still tempted to get one my self but got a ps20
