Just thought I'd let you know I reserved one for a friend in Dunfermline and she no longer wants it so there is a reservation number for anyone who needs it there to the end of today, although you could probably still pick it up first thing tomorrow if that helps.

PM me for number as I don't think I can post it on here.

Also, Dundee, Overgate Centre, has the games but no consoles, but the consoles are due in Wednesday. Web let me reserve the games for pick up today and the console for Wednesday. I went into the shop and explained the plight and the nice lad at the checkout changed my game reservation date until Wednesday / Thursday when the console comes in so I can get both on the deal so might be worth checking delivery dates for consoles or even reserve the games if they are there in stock.

I think the on-line Argos stock levels are re-set just after midnight, so if you try early early Sunday you might find some of those reserved in last night's excitement but not collected today will revert to stock supply.

If anyone cant get one try online tonight just after the argos shops shut as the people who have reserved this deal and not collected it will then be available for reservation again. So a lot more xbox will be available tonight if you are quick just reserve it and buy it in store tomorrow.

hmmm i was able to order just now for pickup no problem in Sheffield Angel Street. At the checkout the price for both says £49 but when I get the reservation numbers it says £79 for the games and £49 for the Xbox??? The reservation says I can't pick up until Wednesday so does anyone have any idea if i will have to fight it out with the store manager to get this for the 50 quid price??

seems to be loads in sheffield stores. Try these if sheffield is near you.

You need to collect both on Wednesday and you'll pay £49.99

If you look at the price of the games, there should be a star by the £79.99, it says something like check the footnote for special offer.

I got them to email me the reservation number and that shows the games priced at £0.00. Try that and you should have evidence, if you did need it.
