well if they paid £18 for the 4 games and £10 for the system from boots it equals a total of £28 for the same deal thats £49.98 at argos. Sounds like a good deal to me.hessian wrote:Are you saying you paid £18 just for the 4 games then ? because that does not sound like a good deal.0 -
does anyone know how much you get if you trade this in at blockbuster?0

Just rang them up, they say that the order hasn't gone through, and that they're out of stock in the warehouse. Great! :mad:0

Anyone wanting to softmod their xbox should buy the "Xploder lite" from dixons/currys/pc world. It is £0.99p and allows yo to copy save games from a PC to a memory card.
You put your exploit gamesave on the memory card, then get a copy of splinter cell (about £2 in gamestation/cash convertors - you can also use 007 or mechassault but SC is far more common) and away you go. Easiest way to softmod (and cheap too :> ).ॐ Signature Removed by Someones Mum. ॐ0 -

Same thing happened here. The annoying thing is that when I placed the order, they had stock for store pickup within driving distance but not at my local one and with my green hat on I thought it would be better to let them deliver.
Now it's out of stock everywhere locally.0 -
I got one today no problem in Leamington - Games reserved on Sat thro Mon and Xbox was reserved from Wed but they had them both in stock.
Will I get a decent deal if I trade them in brand new at Gamestation when the Wii comes out or can I let the kids play on it beforehand?Noli nothis permittere te terere

I'm sure I've read that Gamestation are only offering £32 for the conosole. Don't know if that was cash or credit.
