had exactly the same experience the other day and felt the same too! I think a lot of people wanting to pay their ASDA cc bill at a bank would go to santander primarily because it says 'santander consumer credit services' on the payment slip therefore most people would naturally make santander their first port of call; the ASDA cc bill should include a line at the back telling people to go to Lloyds if they want to pay at a bank, would save a lot of hassle.
