'Sick' - unless being used to describe someone unwell (that makes me sound so old! I'm clearly not 'down with the kids'!!!)
And, one that really irritates me - people saying pacific or pacifically when they mean specific!!!0 -

It's got the Xfactor/ wow factor (on property programmes)
The other thing that drives me mental is lazy spelling. Not text spelling just plain lazy spelling. eg. ov instead of of. It's the same amount of letters and the letter V is directly BELOW the F.
Other ones include: cnt (can't) wudnt (wouldn't) tym (time) da (the) etc...
Using amount instead of number - less instead of fewer0 -

I hate Americanisms like "my bad", 'sick' to mean Fantastic, 'Dude' patronise with an A!!!
Pacific instead of Specific!0 -
"You're my guilty pleasure" - especially when Cheryl Cole says it.
Also when someone is a "national treasure"

You guys must really hate me, as I say loads of these (but usually when taking the !!!!, or pretending to be down with the kids).
The one that annoys me the most, though, is 'obviously.'
Such as when a customer approaches me (in the audio section) and says something like:
"Hi, I obviously want a tv, so obviously I need to know if, obviously, sky will work with it. I obviously want a 32 or 40 inch screen, but I'm not sure.... I might, obviously, go bigger or smaller, obviously."
Since when has obviously become a substitute for a pause?0 -

For quite a while, OBVIOUSLY!0 -
I hate most office speak. Even worse are the number of numpties who insist on using it.
Blue Sky Thinking, Touch Base, Solutions. Synergy. End to End. Think outside the box.
People who use office speak think that just because God gave you a mouth doesn't mean you have to use it. In fact I'd go further to say that if you use office speak with me, my immediate thought would be: "You utter c*ck."The man without a signature.0 -
