Medion LCD 32" TV

I bought this just under a year ago and this morning when i've went to turn it on, its turning on but i have no picture at all, not even a blue screen. Its just dead. I have luckily found my receipt but medion and aldi are both currently closed. Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this or if there is anything…

Of course not, but at the time, it was the only 32" panel available according the Sony man . . .

I seem to remember that shortly after, the major companys got together in a joint venture and built a new production plant to produce the larger panels.
