I know she's great! But then I did let her stay at my house last night when I wasn't there so when she offered to clean the kitchen it may have been due to her making a mess?? Lol either way she is my bestie xxxNothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!0

Afternoon ladies (and Karb;))
Joining in a bit late again here...I did read this morning but was in a rush to get out so didn't post my list.
Another gorgeous day here...sadly no washing to go out, wish I'd put my bedding in this morning, but bit late now.
I nipped out this morning to the shops - bought me some work trousers (most of my old ones are too big...one good thing about having Crohns, cant keep weight on:rotfl:) - so went for the £20 ones I saw in Next not long ago - bargain:). Also got some day and night creams in Boots on 3 for 2. In Asda I did a small shop (£29 and sneaked in a nice stripey spring top for £10...oops:o)
Been to the Uni library too...lots of reading for me now:D
Ok, here's the list:- check banking
- meal from plan tonight - chicken, salami, pepper risotto...yum - just for me, girls having roast at the out-laws;)
- rubbish/recycling out for the morning
- heating off
- clean bedding on girls' beds
- hoover through quickly
- make tomorrow's packed lunches
- forgot to pay uni library fees...oops, but saved me a couple of quid for now;)
- check ebay for new bag for dd2 for school
- clean washing to put away
I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Hi all, thanks to pixiechick for remembering me
A NSD for me today, as I'm not intending to leave the house.
DW went to the warehouse this morning to get stock for her stall, but her parents were goung to town so gave her a lift. Saved me the petrol.
I took the opportunity to do some jobs in the garden while it was nice.
Weeded the gardens, got out all of the moss from between the paving slabs, and patched up the front fence, which DS had wrecked while playing football. It really needs a new fence, but my patchwork will do for the time being.
Dinner was a £2.99 chicken from Aldi, some 1p Tesco stuffing, plus a load of veg that needed using up. The whole thing probably cost around a fiver to feed 6 of us. Very tasty it was too. I say its because I cooked
Other DFW things today:
Checked online banking
Laundry is drying on the line, no heating needed today.
Showered using toiletries I brought home from last week's hotel stay (hotel was paid for by work)
Hope you've all had a good weekendDebt free since December 2015. It can be done0 -
Hi all
Just a quick update:
- glorious afternoon at allotment with picnic. Great in the sunshine. Friend popped by with his kids and helped us! Very nice. We then went down the park for a sundowner..well coffee for me and HM beers for the boys! All very nice.
- booked our camp site..opted for Forest Hols so no excuse not to get on the bikes and generally be outdoorsy this easter. Was £110 but for 4 nights for 4 of us could be worse
- got a few bits at the corner shop.. Cheapie frozen peas and crushed garlic and ginger which seemed very good value. Saves us from the supermarket for another few days so grand total spend today was £4.27
for groceries and £110 for campsite. Pretty restrained I guess on the household stuff this weekend. No doubt the weather makes a difference. Sunshine always makes me more inclined to laze about and not spend.
Have a good eve all.

Hi folks , late post from me . Been rather busy and still a bit rubbishy. But what a lovely day we have had
So far :- listed 3 items on ebay
- DD bought me an early mothers day lunch
- DD gave me her voucher from boots spending so I can get £5 off the blusher I need
- a bit of charity shopping , very pleased with vintage stocking for 75p which will be great for a retro night out coming up
- HC dried mostly on line
- Picked up refund cheque from travel agent and booked another holiday
2 holidays in one year is me slipping back into bad habits
so I need to work hard on ebaying and saving.
- List, List , List - got 6 items listed , cba with anymore
- comps - quite a few done yesterday
- surveys - can't see any
- start a shopping list - in progress
- look on freegle for curtain pole I need
- start on clearing loft - got 8 bin bags for charity, a full wheelie bin and can just about see some space, big work in progress
- Paint toe nails while keeping off the wine
- speak to mum and sis on phone using free weekend minutes tick

Bit bummed out today for some reason but as well as starting loft project have tidied out my jewellry which makes life a lot easier.
Sadly my central heating seems to have give up the ghost so we now have extra jumpers on and i will try and find a plumber tommorow. The boiler is 25 years old so i suspect I need to start looking for a new oneWhen it rains look for RainbowsWhen its Dark look for Stars0 -
Evening all! Late post from me, this weekend I have:
Listed items on eBay. Won on item for £55 less than it sells in shops!! Local so will collect and no p+p
Great big tidy up and sort out. Jave rearranged DD nursery. Now space!
All meals from stores
Washing drying outside
Meal plan for next week, shopping lost done on back of it
DNMS - this might be a bit late but I made apple crisps last week. I didn't follow a recipe, just cored them, left the skin on and cut thin. Lay on baking tray in single layer. Put in oven on about 100 c and cook until crisp. Took about 2 hours. HTH
