Happy Saturday Sunshine everyone xx:j0 -
Good morning everyone, third attempt as I managed to lose the first two tries! Thanks La E for the link yesterday regarding successful people. I think it is also very relevant to our 101 Things in 1001 Days challenge too as mine is quite specific.
Got home to a £228 tax rebate yesterday which will cover the £170 rent arrears and still leave me £50 to play with. :j
Today's list so far:- DW run overnight on Economy 7
- WM started on Economy 7 and hung out to dry
- checked banking
- checked for surveys
- fed and watered the chickens - full compliment of 4 eggs yesterday :T
- paid tax rebate into bank
- paid £7 from penny jar into ISA
- plant seeds and get them into the greenhouse
- start "Hungry Caterpillar" quilt for DGS
- start Corset belt sample and keep track of hours to determine costs - still don't know what is a reasonable hourly rate; any ideas chaps???
- all meals from stores
- not an NSD as I had to pay for the carpark, but that's all

Hi everyone,
What a lovely day it is! I really want to go out & enjoy the weather, but instead I have heaps of housework etc to be getting on with& since my OH is doing overtime again today I really feel I should get the house sorted so he doesn't have to lift a finger...
Last night was brilliant, just what I needed to get out of the house & have a couple of drinks with friends - I can't wait until we're debt free & can afford to do so more, it's a good incentive.
Ooh & I have some more good news - got a letter yesterday informing us that our council tax bill will be going DOWN by about £250 a year :j I was not expecting that at all so it was a great surprise.
Today I have/will:-- [STRIKE]Brekkie from stores [/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Dinner from meal plan - mince out defrosting[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Heating off for now, may need to turn it on when it gets colder this evening but will stave off as long as possible![/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Log calories on free app[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Log expenditure on free app - aiming for a NSD though[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Check for surveys[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Enter comps[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Put some washing away[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Washing on eco setting[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]More washing on eco setting...lol[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Hang washing up to dry[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Check online banking[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Check cashback[/STRIKE]
- Try to find £10 voucher!
- Research wedding bits more
- [STRIKE]See if OH can fix my sunglasses when he's back...don't want to have to buy another pair if this weather keeps up![/STRIKE] - Success!
- Make use of free yoga
- List some things on ebay since it's a free listing weekend
- [STRIKE]Catch up on yesterday's thread[/STRIKE]

Hi everyone. Gorgeous day here in the Midlands.
- Done weekly food shopping at Aldi, with top ups at B&M, Home Bargains, Tesco and Sainsburys depending where was cheapest. Spent £60, whereas if I'd done it all at Sainsburys like I used to, it would probably have been around £100.
- Heating on first thing, to take the chill off the house, but was off again by 9.
- Checked online banking
- Made a payment to DW's storecard, she should be giving me the money back for it, but it doesnt really matter who's account it comes out of, as long as its getting paid.
- Washing is on the line to dry
- Lunch was toasted sandwiches to use up some rather old bread and cheese that was in danger of being thrown out.
- Dinner will be from stores
- Washing the car by hand in a minute
Debt free since December 2015. It can be done0 -

Thanks elfen. I did think £10 an hour was reasonable for "craftsman" rates, but it makes my corsets quite dear compared with being able to buy a Chinese import on ebay for £30 :mad:Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. Grrrr, when will my body realise that 5.15am is NOT the time to be wide awake, especially on a Sunday??!stitching_witch wrote: »I will also:
- plant seeds and get them into the greenhouse
- [STRIKE]start "Hungry Caterpillar" quilt for DGS[/STRIKE] - I've ironed the fabric so that's a start
