Morning all (just), Tad breezy and chilly this morning.Joints are giving me gip still so won't be to much going on here today for me;)Woofer wasn't here when I woke up just after 9  got into a blind panic and was getting really worried and upset and was just about to ring the dog warden incase he had some how escaped once kids had gone of to school when ds1 walked in with him caked in mud :eek: both of them.He had a free morning of lessons and had met up with his freind Meg and her boxer dog ollie and had gone on a long walk over the fields behind school. He didn't think to leave a note or anything. So woofer has got to go to the beauty parlour later and get cleaned Thankfully they have a slot free tonight at 5.
Hope everyone is fine hugs for everyone and birthday greetings to any celebrating today:)
Uniforms in wm as its non uniform today because of it being rnd , i sat up with my dd last night and iced 150 cup cakes to be sold at the school cake sale at break this morning , proceeds going to comic relief. My sister had arranged to collect her and the cakes this morning and take them to school, heaven help the thought of her carrying all those cakes to school otherwise.
Dinner tonight is shepherds pie dd is making it in food tech, so will just have to cook some veggies and make some gravy.
Have a lovely day all.:wave::wave:Paul Walker , in my dreams;)0 -

Happy Birthday Camelot:beer:
and Congratulations Moiliere
Been MIA as had nothing good to say, so thought I would not depress you all., I have been reading everyday though. Nothing new here, still having trouble with OH who is being an absolute a**e!
However the sun is shining and it is really warm when in it today. Worked this morning, then came home and have washing blowing on the line, weeded borders and all tidying up done, so I feel very virtuous at the moment. Hm spicy red pepper and butternut squash soup for lunch. Not sure about tea as yet - with only myself to cook for now I can suit myself! Trying to eat better now though, as have no clothes that fit me properly - break up diets sure do work, although I don't recommend them!
By the way congratulations on the new jobs where appropriate.

Hope everyone has a good day"Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you are up to........"

Afternoon my lovelies

Not much of interest going on here. Busy morning with school runs, soft play, nursery runs and had to go to get a present for birthday party tomorrow. Its at 9am :eek::eek:
H working tonight so left over chicken curry from freezer for tea for me. Weather is lovely but cool but I ain't complaining
Need to make kids beds as I quickly stripped them this morning. Nothing else going on here really.
Hester - I really don't understand why the CRB isn't like a passport or driving licence and is for the person as an individual rather than linked to the setting. I already had a CRB but in order to assist at school I had to get another one done. How much is this costing? Money for old rope if you ask me
Camelot - Have a lovely day, hope you're spoilt rotten
Sorry can't remember any more and I need to get a move on, although I have a serious case of CBA's today
Hugs, spoons and high fives all round. Have a good day OS or not.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

I agree about the CRBs, I've got 4 or 5 now, and a bit like an MOT, they're out of the date the moment they're issued anyway as you could do something naughty the day after your records are checked......but I'd rather there be checks in place that must weed out a proportion of people who shouldn't be doing work with children etc.0

Afternoon everybody,
Happy birthday Camelot
Enjoy your weekend esmf and Cheapskate.
Lovely sunny day here, still cold but clothes on line and waiting for another load to finish so that they can go out too.
Very sad today DD1s best friend died this morning....41, 5 children aged 5-15, husband in shipping and away for ages at a time....was diagnosed with widespread cancer in November just days after her mother died as result of house fire accident....have known her almost all her life and she was one of the sunniest, laid back people I ever met....feel numb. Will go to Kerry to-morrow for funeral on Sunday. Poor DD is in bits so have warned DS1 and DDIL in Cork to take care of her.
LO roast beef for OH for dinner, I will have something from freezer with bn squash and potato.
Have a good day everybody, keep safe and stay warm

Hope everyone is ok. I have been having major problems with the pc at home, and can do most things on it except MSE!!!!!!!
My dh is away for 10 days and I was looking forward to lots of OS time for me and I can't access my beloved forum.
Haven't time to read back all the posts as I just pooped into library for a quick fix.
Enjoy Red Nose day!!!! Looking forward to sitting with DD1 tonight watching it all. Don't usually get a chance when dh here, so will be taking full advantage lol.
Have to go and grab a few books now before getting wee one from nursery, with her nose all painted with red lippy!!!!!Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...
