Hi gjchester,
I can confirm that Tethering is now included in the data allowance on all our new iPhone price plans. If you are not on a new plan, we can change you onto one. Take a look here at the options.

I can certainly help clear up some of the confusion here.
When tethering on an iPhone it uses a different APN (Access Point Name) than the one used for normal web browsing. Tethering does not come out of your standard internet bundle, you would need to have an additional pack to include this data. You can view more information on it here.
If there is anything else I can help with then let me know.
Best wishes,

Hi gjchester,
Yes, all of our new iPhone plans now include Tethering. The section at the bottom is regarding over and above your inclusive allowance. If you wish to discuss it further or change to a new plan, drop me an email to the address here with WRT135 FAO Heidi in the subject.

Does this include SIM only plans? Took 1 out in June and I have been charged for tethering although I only used 2KB. I have a 1GB limit on the iPhone and only use 200MB on average. Tried emailing you but no answer.0 -
I'm quite supprised and impressed that Vodafone have employed a member of staff to watch these forums.
I've never used Vodafone personally before but +1 after seeing this.0 -

Can you tell me WHERE exactly on the page references where it says there is any tethering allowed in the plan.
All there is on the page is as I indicated before that tethering an a fiver more, nothing says otherwise. Trying to buy it and getting to th "price plan" details says nothing about tethering either.0 -
Hi gjchester,
Certainly, it was announced on 1st June on our eForum here. If you have any further queries regarding Tethering, feel free to contact me via email with the details in my earlier post.
Best wishes,
