This is where you tell me I spelt it wrong!
I thought I would add my recipe for you, mine is my Oma's (German Granmother's) recipe (which is the best)!
500g Beef Mince
1 Onion diced
2 slices of bread soaked in water (squeeze excess water)
1 Egg
Add Seasoning (Salt/Pepper/Paprika/cyanne Pepper/Smoked Paprika/Onion Powder and pretty much anything you can find)
Add Herbs
Mix really well and make sure you cook a small amount to test the seasoning...!
Mix thoroughly, roll into balls... cook on a low heat in a frying pan and close the lid (to ensure cooking in the centre)!
Oh and if you are feeling naughty, when finished I de glaze the pan with cream and make this into a sauce! We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. Last night I used granery bread for the first time (due to my dietary restrictions) and it was SO MUCH better then with white bread!
I find that this meal is perfect for children... my son also liked them with a tomato sauce and it's 'Spaghetti and Meatballs'
Another time I made them tiny and served with chips... I made the chips into football goals and the meatballs were footballs! That went down really well too
BTW 450g on Mince made 18 meatballs last night! 3 per person makes these pretty good value for money! We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like.
