Worth moving to TT on LLU?

I am on the Unlimited package which they introduced a couple of years ago then removed. It was £20/month then they slapped an extra £5 on it along with the vat increase in Jan. That was when I started looking for alternatives.OP 25.42/mth seems high. Is it a legacy paxjabe
I want a package that I can watch/download what I want when I want it (Within reason) and it was mostly giving me that (allowing for the throttling starting at 12Pm) but the high cost means I have to look else where now.
TT are my only option on LLU, and all the ADSL packages I looked at were of a higher cost than then current one I am on.:mad:Registered Linux user #497422 :beer:0

Signed up with TT a few months ago. Initially had a daily one loss of connection. For days I kept moaning to myself about it and calling TT all sorts of names (typical near pensioner). Eventually phoned them, got a very helpful young lady (yes foreign but I don't care) who talked me through making some adjustment with the router settings. Not one single problem since. I recommend them 100%.
You will get good and bad comments on every ISP so just pick one and go with it. When you think how many millions of us are online there will always be problems for a few but the vast majority will have a pretty painless experience. It's someone else's fault.0

Having decided to move to them, tried the online sign up but am only offered "Essentials" not the Plus package I wanted. They phoned last night and said the exchange was "FULL" - gone from not available to full in a week??
So stuck with PN for the moment.Registered Linux user #497422 :beer:0

Keep monitoring your exchange here, sooner or later talktalk will increase your exchange capacity 0 0

Back in April 2010 your exchange was also scheduled to be LLU'd by Cable & Wireless (C&W):

Even though this list list has now been trimmed down to 140 exchanges, its worth keeping an eye out here:

If/when C&W enable LLU at your exchange earlier than TalkTalk, then go for C&W LLU eg Tesco broadband or if you want to go with a niche ISP then go for Xilo, ADSL24, Vivaciti etc (but stay away from Demon as they are pants)0

They (TT) claim it IS LLU'ed but there is no capacity for "any more" plus customers only essentials ones.
C&W isn't showing on Samknows (which is where I found out about this one), and this is the first I have heard of them even looking at it. Registered Linux user #497422 :beer:0 Registered Linux user #497422 :beer:0

To true about Demon. Was with them for years. Was paying them £40 p.c.m. for BusinessBroadbband8000 and it got slower & slower since Thus took Demon over. Addon the BT line rental and your talking well over £50 p.c.m.
Moved to TalkTalk Business begining of year. Amazing service. ADSL2+ giving line syncronisation of 15Mbps down / 1Mbps up and where 1.93km from the exhange. Not bad at all. Cost inc talktalk line rental p.c.m. is £23 but got to agree to 24 month contract. TalkTalk waved the connection charge of £29.99 and told them didn't need there router so saved another £29.99 and they gave first month free. Ca'nt be bad!!0
