Does anyone know where I can buy good quality Aero-Twin refills?

No way am I paying £30 for a pair of flipping wiper blades, and by all accounts the cheap ones are pretty poor.

Surely good quality rubber should be available for this purpose? Has anyone gone down this road?

i have silicon wiperblades on both my cars: http://www.tripledge.co.uk/Silicone-Wiper-Blades/

have been excellent so far over the last year. And supposedly guaranteed for the life of the car that they wont wear out.

Well, mine are worn out. Let's see how they perform when I ask them for new ones. :)
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

For all those that care - best wipers I've ever used have been Champion blades from a local motor factors. Very cheap but excellent.

Champion blades have proved far better than the only set of Bosch ones I've ever bought (as said, dead in 5k/6m :()

Changed mine out of neccessity early this year. Escapes me what make but they are quality blades and have the aerodynamic wing that is supposed to hold them to the screen. They are perfect in wind and rain but when not in use at 40mph the dam things "huuuuuum". Annoying as they weren't cheap.
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Those didn't work well for me, had to get a refund. Bought the own brand aero blades from wiperblades.co.uk and they lasted a couple of years per set.

Euro Car Parts may be worth a look, I find them quite competitive...

Bosch Aerotwins. If you know which make and model you want, then the internet (not just wiperblades.co.uk) is the place to go. I found mine on eBay from Jersey at £17.95 (conveniently just under the £18.00 threshold for import duty) for the pair. I can't recall how much the P&P was but, you know me, I wouldn't have paid it if it was too high.
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)
